Finally, the body was back on the chassis.  After hooking up the steering, the car was loaded on the back of a truck and headed over to my dads place to have his final body prep and the application of the Fawn Beige paint.  At this stage, I thought it would be a matter of only a few weeks until the car was finished.  In fact it was still several month away.
